About The Band

Redux is a four-piece alt rock band from the San Francisco Bay Area. Six years strong, they deliver a tight, driven, high energy sound, combining elements from alternative, shoegaze, nu metal, prog rock, and post-hardcore.

Their sound layers dense, emotional textures with bursts of frenetic energy. Gritty riffs and lush tones collide with expressive vocals, generating music that is both powerful and vulnerable. Onstage, they are a raw, immersive whirlwind of emotion and sound.

Founded in 2020 in Marin County, Redux worked its way through Smashing Pumpkins, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Dinosaur Jr. covers at venues including Sweetwater Music Hall and an array of local festivals, block parties, and fundraisers. They started writing original music as their musical tastes evolved, counting Title Fight, Muse, Deftones, and Superheaven as current influences. Known for their focus and discipline, Redux plays with instinct and intent, delivering a distinct, fierce performance.

The band moved their home base to San Francisco in 2024, taking advantage of the city's robust music scene and collaborating with other young bands. They recently placed second in the 2026 Bands of the Bay contest.

Redux has recently rocked:
